iPad Classroom Management Strategies
1. Develop iPad rules with your students.
There is a set of rules for the classroom, library, computer lab, science lab, cafeteria, and the playground. Naturally, it's a good idea to develop a set of rules that will help keep the iPad and students safe during class time. My poster might have the following rules. 1. Wash your hands before using the iPad. 2. Carry the iPad with two hands. 3. Keep the iPad flat on the desk while working. 4. Treat the iPad with respect. |
I found these rules at HeidiSongs along with other great ideas. Click the poster to visit her site.

3. While giving instruction or during a whole class

4. Working in centers

5. Don't forget to think ahead
Plan for headphones- consider adding them to the school supply list have some on hand for those that cannot afford them -If you bring up safety and lice, most parents would probably prefer to bring their own. If you have a cord chewer....parents would become aware pretty quick. -charge iPads after school or during lunch -teach students to force close apps before beginning the lesson -teach students to delete |
